SKUStamp ("the App") is a desktop application, operated from the United Kingdom, that helps marketplace sellers print postage labels and keep bookkeeping records for their own sales. You can contact us any time at [email protected].

The short version: SKUStamp runs entirely on your own computer. Your emails, orders and bookkeeping records are processed locally and stay on your device. We do not operate servers that receive, store or analyse your data — we cannot see it. We never sell data, never share it, and never use it for advertising.

What the App accesses, and why

Your email (Gmail). With your permission, granted through Google's own sign-in, the App reads emails from marketplace senders (for example order confirmations and shipping-label emails from Vinted, Depop and eBay) to find your sales and postage labels automatically. This processing happens on your computer. Email content is never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

Your eBay seller account. With your permission, granted through eBay's own sign-in, the App retrieves your orders, transaction fees and postage costs from eBay's official APIs to build your bookkeeping records. This data is saved into files on your computer and nowhere else.

Files you provide. The App reads files you choose to give it (for example an inventory spreadsheet) to match stock numbers to sales. These stay on your computer.

Google API Services — Limited Use disclosure

SKUStamp's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

Where your data lives

Everything the App produces — bookkeeping spreadsheets, label files, settings, and the sign-in tokens for Google and eBay — is stored in folders on your own computer. Nothing is uploaded to us. If you keep the App's folders in a cloud-synced location (such as OneDrive), that syncing is governed by your cloud provider's terms and remains under your control.

What we collect ourselves

If you join the early-access list, our email provider stores the address you give us so we can send launch news; unsubscribe links are in every email. If you purchase a licence, our payment provider processes your name, email address and payment details under its own privacy policy; we receive your name, email address and licence status — never card numbers. If you email us for support, we keep the correspondence. That is the complete list: the App itself sends us nothing.

Data retention and deletion

Because your data is stored only on your computer, you are in full control of it — deleting the App's folders deletes the data. You can revoke the App's access at any time:

If a marketplace notifies us that a user has closed their account, we have nothing to delete on our side, because we hold no user data; the App on your computer remains under your control.

Your rights (UK GDPR)

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection regarding personal data we hold about you. Since we hold at most your email-list entry, licence details and support correspondence, requests are usually simple — email [email protected]. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Children

The App is for business use by adults and is not directed at children under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date. Material changes will be highlighted in the App's release notes.
